From a Call Centre Floor to a National Health Network
Dr. Armaan has spent more than two decades building things Bangladesh now takes for granted: mobile money, 3G, a national app store and, today, doctors inside neighbourhood pharmacies.
Transforming Scale with Purpose
He started in customer care in 2002, moved through product and strategy at the country's biggest operators, ran product management across six Asian markets, and now leads digital health and fintech ventures in the Grameen group. He also teaches EMBA students at North South University.

Two Decades ofTransformational Leadership
Every chapter took something complex—from calls to payments to care—and put it within reach of ordinary people.
Learning the customer
Set up CityCell's 24-hour call centre, then moved into value added services and product development. Launched e-top-up, an early apps store with a developer community, and Bangladesh's first 3G service under the ZOOM brand.
Taking telecom into money and ideas
Launched mobile financial services such as bill pay, mobile banking, insurance and remittance. Shaped Grameenphone's first data package, and supported the 2011 bKash launch at Robi.
Building at regional scale
Established edotco Bangladesh as a leading TowerCo, then headed product management across Malaysia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Myanmar. Took over 6,000 tower sites generating USD 100M a year.
Launching national platforms
Led a BDT 5.5B portfolio as Executive Vice President. Built Bdapps with 75,000+ apps, BDTICKETS and the OTT service Binge, and shipped blockchain-based credit scoring nominated for a GLOMO award.
Health and fintech with purpose
